IDENTIFICACION
DEL TEMA: Los temas a desarrollar en la presente guía son los que corresponden
a los temas contenidos en la malla curricular del área de humanidades del
segundo trimestre del año escolar 2020, lo cuales se ajustan a los diferentes
lineamientos que plantea el ministerio de educación y están ligados al PEI de
la institución y sus aspectos de visión, misión y horizonte institucional.
OBJETIVOS
Reforzar
y reconocer el uso correcto de expresiones cotidianas en el contexto vivencial
del estudiante, de acuerdo a la temática dada.
Lograr
un excelente dominio en el uso de vocabulario y estructuras gramaticales claves
en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés.
JUSTIFICACIÓN
El
aprendizaje y el uso del idioma inglés es clave hoy en día para cualquier
profesión que el estudiante desee seguir en su vida. Por medio de la
elaboración de oraciones que utilizan diferentes clases de conectores y a su
vez, expresiones que indican cualidades en las personas, el estudiante
demuestra que capacidad posee para contextualizar el vocabulario aprendido, las
estructuras previamente estudiadas, la coherencia y cohesión de sus ideas y su
nivel de estructuración de oraciones con sentido claro y conciso.

CONDITIONALS

DE LECTURA CRITICA CONTENIDOS EN EL TEXTO GUIA ENGLISH PLEASE 1.
1.
THE
CONDITIONAL TYPE 1.
The
conditional type 1 refers to a possible situation and its probable result. This
kind of expressions are based on real facts and are used to express statements
about the reality and particular situations. Also, we can use them to mention
warnings.
The
structure is : if-simple present tense / future simple tense.
EXAMPLE:
IF you
study hard, you will approve the school year.
(si tu
estudias duro, you aprobaras el año escolar).
Notice
that the first sentences is in present tense and the second sentence is in
future tense with the auxiliary WILL.
If you
don´t eat healthy food, you will get sick.
(si tu
no comes alimentos saludables, tú te enfermarás).
ACTIVITY:
Elabora
10 oraciones donde indiques que medidas sanitarias se deben tener en cuenta
para evitar el contagio del actual virus.
Ejemplo:
If you
don´t wash your hands regularly, you will acquire the virus.

THE
SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE:
The simple
present tense is a gramatical structure which is used to express repetition,
daily routines and generalization. Also, to mention activities which are
happening right now.
It is
very important to have in mind: when we use the third person ( he-she-it), in
the positive statement, we have to add S to the verb.
We use
two auxiliaries both to the question and in some answers.

Example
1:
Statement:
I study at home during the epidemic.
Question:
Do you study at home during the epidemic?
Positive
answer: yes, i study at home during the epidemic
Negative
answer: no, i don´t study at home during the epidemic.

She useS the face mask to protect from the
virus.
Question:
Does she use the face mask to protect from the virus?
Positive
answer: yes, shes useS the mask to protect from
the virus.
Negative
answer: no, she doesn´t use the mask to protect from the virus.
Rule: (
notice the S in the verbs).
ACTIVITY:
Teniendo
en cuenta los ejemplos explicados, elabora 3 oraciones del ejemplo 1, es decir
con los pronombres ( i.you,we.they) sobre acciones que debes tomar para
prevenir el virus covid -19.
Elabora
3 oraciones del segundo ejemplo, es decir con los pronombres ( he-she-it),
sobre que recomiendas a una tercera persona sobre acciones para prevenir el
contagio del virus. ( recuerda que puedes utilizar tu diccionario para
averiguar significados y buscar aquellas palabras que necesites para componer
tus oraciones.

The lion and the mouse
Once when a Lion was asleep a little Mouse began running up and down upon him; this soon wakened the Lion, who placed his huge paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him.
